        AND

 

IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION BY

Continental Insurance Company and

Continental Casualty Company

TO IMPLEMENT REVISED RATES FOR THEIR

COMMERCIAL AND MISCELLANOUS

CLASSES OF BUSINESS.

 

 

 

 

WHEREAS by application received May 15, 2000, Continental Insurance Company and Continental Casualty Company applied to the Board for approval to implement revised rating programs for their Commercial and Miscellaneous classes of business, and

 

WHEREAS, the Board, after due examination and analysis of the proposed rating programs, finds that they should be approved as filed. 

 


IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED THAT:

 

1.                  Approval be and it is hereby granted Continental Insurance Company and Continental Casualty Company for the implementation of revised rating programs for their Commercial and Miscellaneous classes of business as submitted to the Board on May 15, 2000.                       

 

2.                  The rates approved herein may not be altered or varied by the application of any surcharge or discount which has not been filed with and approved by the Board.

 

3.                  These rates shall be effective from  July 14, 2000 for new business and renewals.
