Legal Counsel
Under the direction of the Board’s Senior Director of Regulatory and Legal Services, Legal Counsel will be expected to:

  • Provide advice to both Commissioners and staff and participate in proceedings before the Board
  • Act as a liaison with stakeholders, including the public, to ensure the effective and efficient conclusion of maters brought to the Board
  • Advise the Board in relation to regulatory and legal maters
  • Draft correspondence and other documentation
  • Direct maters before the Board which may involve collaboration with staff, communication with stakeholders, government, the public as well as supervision of outside consultants.
  • Act as Board Counsel in hearings and in court

Regulatory Analyst
Under the direction of the Board’s Senior Director of Legal and Regulatory Services, a Regulatory
Analyst will be expected to:

  • Provide advisory services including financial and technical analysis.
  • Review and analyze applications and reports to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines.
  • Interface with stakeholders including the regulated entities, other regulatory bodies, consultants, government officials, and the general public.
  • Review and prepare briefing notes for the Board.
  • Assist in relation to Board orders, reports, and other regulatory documents.
  • Address inquiries from the general public.
