The Board today issued a Procedural Order [P.U. 7 (2001-2002)] that identifies registered intervenors, outlines a schedule of dates and sets procedural rules for the conduct of the hearing into the General Rate Review application of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro filed with the Board on May 31, 2001. This order arises from a pre-hearing conference held on July 5, 2001 into this application.

The Procedural Order outlines the requirements for the applicant (Hydro) and registered intervenors over the next several weeks leading to a start date for the public hearing of September 24, 2001. Notice of the dates and locations of the public hearing will be published in newspapers throughout Newfoundland and Labrador commencing in August. Information will also be provided in that notice on how interested parties may submit letters of comment or make oral presentation to the Board during the hearing.
